CREATE, CELEBRATE, CONGRATULATE + CLOSURE DATES.
CREATE & CELEBRATE:
I'm reminded how this idea stared over ten years ago. I signed on the dotted line before they started construction. We moved into cSPACE January 2017 and opened to the public to teach our first class Feb. 10th. It has been a windy road, I didn't think I'd make it past the first year, what had I gotten myself into?!
I It took some time to build up enough of a schedule, I worked multiple jobs outside the school and still do. There was still lots to learn in how to run a space like this and still plenty of physical space at the time for more students and equipment. Then we overcame the challenge of the lockdowns, barely squeaking though.
I cant believe how fast it seems we made it to our 8th year and are thriving once more. Thanks to you!

CONGRATULATE:
Congratulations to John Ross for his first big opening of his paintings from his 365 painting challenge, very impressive collection and turn out the the opening event. Some of the Atelier peeps were able to attend, the most stoked seemed to be Darrel and I managed to snap some shots and I heard there are still some pieces available so reach out to Johnyart on Instagram to get yours. CLOSURE
Just a reminder we have an extra long weekend at the Studio this week. Bunny will be doing his annual teaching at the CBE Teachers convention this weekend and Monday the 17th is Family Day so the Studio will be closed Feb. 13 - 17th.
There are no sessions of any kind from the 13th - 17th.
We will be open in the evening for the Nuit Des Artistes event Feb. 13 5 - 9pm @CSPACE Doug will be drawing with Elena and me and checking out the four floors of events and festivities.
Everything else is running as usual. I hope you are actually reading these. In the next newsletter we will have new upcoming sessions and opportunities listed, some of which are already on the website as we think forward into the spring season already.
