What will my child be doing at an Atelier youth class?

Our kids courses cover broad spectrum of art skills. Including observational drawing, still life, portraiture, painting, Art history, techniques and more. Your children will explore the exciting world of history of art. They will create their own masterpieces every day using a variety of materials, mediums and techniques including drawing pencils, pencil crayons, charcoal, chalk pastels, paint and more.

 

When applicable and weather permitting we will take outdoor breaks at the nearby parks.

What are age ranges of children who attend Youth courses at Atelier Artista?

Our youth courses and camps are designed for children ages 8 to 16.

Please be sure to register your child for the course material appropriate to their age range.

How many children are in each camp?

The minimum number of children is 4 and the maximum is 10. 

We keep our classes small so that each participant will get lots of individual attention and personalized instruction.

What are the hours of the courses? 

SaturdaysCourses run from 10:00am to 1:00pm

Earliest Drop off is between 9:30 to 10:00am 

Pick up is following the end of the time they are attending the latest being 1:30pm 

An additional $25 per participant will be charged for late pick ups.

We are located on the 4th floor of cSPACE King Edward in Marda Loop.

What should my child wear to Atelier Artista Art class?

Children should wear clothes that they can create art in.

Please do not send them in anything that cant get wrecked, art can get messy.

We have some aprons available, but we will be making art and there will more be a creative mess in the studio!

What should my child bring to class?

• Snacks and fluids are recommended; please avoid sending your child with any food that contains nuts

• Please label all items sent to camp (clothing, lunch bags, water bottles etc.) in case your child misplaces something

When is payment due? 

Payment in full is required at the time of registration.
